STEWARDSHIP & ACCOUNTABILITY
Care Includes Accountability.
2Wanda Community Foundation™ is committed to responsible governance, careful stewardship of charitable resources, transparency, privacy, and professional oversight that help protect the mission and the community it serves.
A Separate Nonprofit Organization
2Wanda Community Foundation™ maintains its own Board, governance, finances, records, policies, charitable decisions, and accountability.
2Wanda Brands™ is separate and may support the Foundation as a donor and Founding Sponsor, but the Foundation's nonprofit governance and charitable responsibilities remain distinct.
FINANCIAL STEWARDSHIP
Charitable Resources Deserve Responsible Oversight.
The Foundation is committed to using charitable resources responsibly in support of its mission, programs, grants, scholarships, community initiatives, charitable projects, and the infrastructure required to carry out that work.
Financial administration is supported through appropriate controls and qualified accounting, financial, banking, tax, legal, and other professional support as needed.
Specific financial treatment may vary by gift, fund, grant, sponsorship, fiscal sponsorship arrangement, program, restriction, or agreement.
TRANSPARENCY & CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
Transparency Protects the Mission.
Relationships involving Board members, leadership, related organizations, sponsors, donors, vendors, or other parties are handled through appropriate disclosure, documentation, review, conflict-of-interest practices, financial oversight, and professional review when applicable.
The purpose is to protect the Foundation's charitable mission, decision-making, resources, and public trust.
DONOR STEWARDSHIP
Every Gift Is Treated With Care.
Charitable contributions are administered in support of the Foundation's mission and according to applicable donor restrictions, agreements, Foundation policies, and professional oversight.
Donors may request anonymity where appropriate, and the Foundation seeks to honor donor intent within applicable charitable, legal, financial, and organizational requirements.
PRIVACY & INFORMATION CARE
Information Should Be Collected With Purpose.
The Foundation seeks to collect only the information reasonably needed for the applicable inquiry, relationship, donation, program, or next step.
Support and referral contacts, Community communications, donor relationships, partner relationships, sponsorships, volunteer participation, Board or Advisor interest, and other Foundation relationships are managed according to their separate purposes and preferences.
Contacting the Foundation for support does not automatically enroll someone in marketing or Community communications.
PUBLIC ACCOUNTABILITY
Accountability Should Be Visible.
As appropriate and available, the Foundation may provide public information and accountability resources such as nonprofit status and organizational information, board and governance information, annual or impact reports, and required public filings. These materials may also include financial or stewardship summaries, donor and gift policies where appropriate, conflict-of-interest information at an appropriate public level, along with other approved transparency and accountability resources.
Public transparency does not require the Foundation to publish private records, bank information, confidential donor information, internal deliberations, or sensitive personal data.
PROFESSIONAL OVERSIGHT
Qualified Professionals Support Responsible Stewardship.
The Foundation may work with qualified financial, accounting, banking, tax, legal, investment, compliance, insurance, technology, and other professionals as appropriate to its activities and responsibilities.
2Wanda Community Foundation™ does not replace a donor's personal attorney, CPA, financial advisor, investment advisor, or tax professional.
