Why the Foundation Exists
Towanda's work across Behavioral Care, direct care, education, workforce development, family support, and community systems shaped a vision for a Foundation that does not try to become every service.
Instead, 2Wanda Community Foundation™ helps bring people, resources, relationships, charitable support, and community opportunities into connection so Beloveds and the people surrounding their care have more places to turn.
TOWANDA'S ROLE
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Towanda guides the Foundation's mission, community relationships, strategic direction, and organizational development.
She works with the Board of Directors, professional advisors, financial professionals, community partners, and other qualified experts as the Foundation develops and carries out its charitable work.
The Foundation is independently governed through its Board and operates separately from 2Wanda Brands™.

The vision is to strengthen community around Beloveds so families, caretakers, professionals, organizations, donors, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters have meaningful ways to connect, contribute, and help move care-centered community forward.
The Foundation's work is designed around relationship, belonging, access, opportunity, stewardship, and a clear next step.
LEADERSHIP WITH ACCOUNTABILITY
Leadership Is Part of a Larger Structure
The Founder and Chief Executive Officer provides leadership, but the Foundation's charitable decisions and responsibilities operate within its nonprofit governance, policies, Board oversight, financial controls, professional review, and accountability structure.
This structure helps protect the mission, the community, donors, partners, and the long-term work of the Foundation.
