WHO ARE OUR BELOVEDS?
People Before Systems, Services, or Labels.
Beloveds may include children and adults connected to developmental disabilities, neurodivergence, intellectual disabilities, special needs, behavioral health, mental health, aging, and other care-related needs.
The Foundation does not define people by a diagnosis, service system, behavior, or support need. Beloveds are people first - with identity, relationships, strengths, preferences, experiences, goals, and lives that extend beyond care.

Care Is Carried Through Community.
Parents, guardians, families, caretakers, professionals, advocates, and community resources help shape the environment surrounding a Beloved.
2Wanda Community Foundation™ strengthens both the person and the circle around them by helping connect people to information, relationships, resources, opportunities, and community support.
ACROSS THE LIFESPAN
Children. Adults. Families. Community.
Needs, responsibilities, environments, and opportunities can change across stages of life. The Foundation's community is not limited to one age, diagnosis, system, or moment.
Connections may involve education, transition, employment, benefits, community living, family and caregiver support, behavioral health, mental health, future planning, aging, recreation, advocacy, and other areas of care and community life.
OUR POSITION
Beloveds Are People Before They Are Cases, Diagnoses, or Services.
The Foundation's role is to help strengthen the community around Beloveds so people have more places to turn, more information to work with, and more connections available when a next step is needed.
We do not reduce a person to the system they are navigating or the behavior someone is trying to understand.
